The Gala is looking for a number of cadet volunteers to assist with their event on Friday, 20 Oct 17. There are various 'shifts' available, however, I am still waiting on confirmation on which ones need to be filled. Most likely we will require cadets to help with ushering guests and with guest registration, which will occur in the evening starting around 1700hrs.
If you are interested in lending a hand, please contact Maj Sun (julie.sc.sun@gmail.com). Reminder to all cadets, these hours can go towards your Duke of Ed and towards the completion of the Community Service Performance Objective!!

We will require a total of 3 (final number to be determined, as we are working with the other CalHigh Cadet Corps) cadets for the following duties:
Registration Volunteer Group
The Registration Volunteer Group will be required to work the Registration Desk for the Event at the Telus Convention Centre, North Hall.
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm – final start end time to be determined
- Set up name tags, ready for distribution
- Greet Guests as they arrive
- Hand out Name Tags
- Direct guests to Reception
Raffle Volunteer Group
The Raffle Volunteer Group will be required to work at the Telus Convention Centre, North Hall throughout the event to sell raffle tickets.
5:30 – 10:00 pm
- Sell Raffle Tickets during VIP Reception and Dinner
- Assist Raffle Manager in the drawing for Raffle items
- Reconcile Cash and Ticket sales at the completion of the raffle
