The aim of this clinic is to develop youth in musicianship and increase self-confidence & self-discipline through developing skills in Pipes and Drums music repertoire/technique. It is further intended to promote and maintain enthusiasm towards pipes and drums activities outside of what our respective organization has to offer. This will aid in the success of each respective your musicality and level testing requirements within our program and provide you with tools to be successful in the civilian pipes and drums settings at various competitions, band workshops and performances.

This training will be led by highly qualified and experienced instructors from the Rocky Mountain Pipe Band (Grade 2 North American Champions), the highly known Regimental Pipes and Drums of the Calgary Highlanders, along with support from experienced CIC officers within the Pipes and Drums setting.

We kindly ask that you sign up with Capt Concannon if you wish to attend NLT  0800 Saturday morning (21 April 18) as food and refreshments will be provided by our sponsoring committee for this event and we would like to ensure we have a solid classroom size to instructor ratio.

Please be reminded that the dress for this activity is appropriate civilian attire and instruments and maintenance items must be brought by each participant. Should you require clarification on anything further, please do not hesitate to contact me at the number listed below or this email address.

We are very much looking forward to see each of you there on Sunday!
